Dayna summered and articled with the firm before returning as an associate where she is building a broad litigation practice. As a student at the firm, she worked on a variety of civil, commercial, and regulatory matters.

Dayna received her JD from the University of Ottawa’s Common Law Program where she worked as a division leader with the Tenant Division at the school’s Community Legal Clinic and served as the Submissions Manager for the Ottawa Law Review. While at law school, she competed in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in both her 2L and 3L years, receiving Honorable Mention for Best Individual Oralist each year and Honorable Mention with each of her teams for written advocacy work. She also interned at the Ontario Court of Justice and worked as a research assistant on issues related to race and racism in Canada’s legal system.

Before law school, Dayna spent several years developing essential business skills in a variety of roles, including sales, marketing, and management positions. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Waterloo.

Dayna was called to the Ontario Bar in 2024.
