Lilliana summered at Polley Faith LLP before returning as an articling student. She is a recent graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School. In 3L, Lilliana participated in Osgoode’s Trial Advocacy course where she litigated a mock tort case in the Superior Court of Justice. In 2L, Lilliana was a caseworker in the housing rights division at Parkdale Community Legal Services where she represented low-income tenants facing eviction before the Landlord and Tenant Board. After her 1L year, Lilliana was awarded the McMillan LLP Award for her academic excellence. In her 1L summer, she worked as a summer student for a criminal defence lawyer.
Prior to law school, Lilliana graduated from Toronto Metropolitan University with distinction and completed her B.A. Hons. in Criminology with a minor in French. Throughout her time there, she volunteered for various criminal justice organizations and worked as a research assistant.
Outside of her work at Polley Faith LLP, Lilliana spends her time building community. She mentors undergraduate and law students interested in pursuing a legal career and speaks on various panels focused on breaking down barriers and demystifying law school.
