Yuliya is an associate at Polley Faith. Prior to joining the firm as an associate, Yuliya summered and articled with the firm, during which time she worked on civil, commercial and regulatory matters.

Yuliya received her JD from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. During her time there, she developed her advocacy skills by volunteering at Downtown Legal Services where she represented individuals charged with criminal or academic offences. She also volunteered as a legal research assistant at the David Asper Centre for Constitutional Rights to aid in a submission regarding the interplay between artificial intelligence and the section 8 privacy rights of Canadians. Yuliya also received the Professor Alan A. Mewett, Q.C. Prize in Criminal Law.

Before law school, Yuliya graduated with High Honours from Trinity College at the University of Toronto. During her studies, Yuliya taught LSAT and MCAT courses for a leading Test Prep institution. She was also Editor in Chief of the University of Toronto Undergraduate Criminology Review.
